Support for the Hildesheim Sports Foundation

The Hildesheim Sports Foundation is committed to strengthening local sports in Lower Saxony and specifically supports non-profit sports clubs and associations as well as sports-related activities of daycares, schools, universities of applied sciences, and the university in the city of Hildesheim. The focus is particularly on projects in youth and senior sports, initiatives for integration and inclusion, performance-oriented model projects, and exceptional sporting events with high external impact. Eligible for funding are tax-privileged organizations, educational institutions, interest groups, and other clubs based in Hildesheim that demonstrate the social significance of sports through sustainable concepts. The type of funding is provided as a grant, and continuous application submission is possible at any time before the start of the measure.

For a successful application, a detailed cost breakdown including a financing plan is essential, as well as acceptance of the funding guidelines and the non-profit status of the sponsoring organization. Construction measures, purchases of sports equipment, and already completed projects are not funded. Evaluation is based on relevance to youth and senior sports, degree of innovation, and external impact. The following are required upon submission: funding application, project description, financing plan, proof of use, statutes, and cost evidence or cost estimates.
