Funding by the Hoeck Foundation

The Hoeck Foundation provides ongoing support for inpatient and outpatient hospice care in the Barnim-Uckermark region. With unlimited grants, the funding aims to cover existing financing gaps not covered by health and nursing insurance funds. In particular, it addresses non-profit and charitable initiatives that enable dignified support for people in palliative life phases. By covering the remaining own contributions, the organizational burden is reduced, and hospice services can be strengthened in their quality and continuity. Ongoing application opportunities ensure that projects can be funded in a needs-based and timely manner.

Interested parties are operators of inpatient hospices as well as outpatient hospice services located or actively operating in Barnim-Uckermark, who hold verified non-profit or charitable status. A prerequisite for funding is proof of the hospice work performed in the inpatient or outpatient sector. Public institutions and foundations may also submit applications. Decisions are made based on a project-related needs assessment, with particular emphasis on sustainable impact and local anchoring. Through this targeted support, hospice care for people in the region is to be secured and further developed in the long term.
