Funding of the Husmann Environmental Foundation

The Husmann Environmental Foundation offers ongoing grants for projects in Lower Saxony and is aimed at private individuals as well as non-profit organizations. The focus is on the preservation and protection of flora and fauna in the Emsland region, with support also provided for measures to increase energy efficiency and climate protection. Additionally, the foundation promotes social initiatives that assist people in need with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities, as well as families who have fallen into financial hardship through no fault of their own. Funding proposals can be submitted at any time in writing and are evaluated based on their effectiveness for environmental and nature conservation or social inclusion.

The three pillars of the Husmann Environmental Foundation are, firstly, nature and species protection in the regional environment; secondly, support for needy individuals who rely on assistance from others; and thirdly, financial relief for families in unforeseen hardship. Projects for renaturation, the creation of biotopes, as well as individual aid measures can be equally supported. Applications are informal and not subject to deadlines, allowing interested parties to receive timely decisions regarding possible funding. The Husmann Environmental Foundation thus contributes to preserving ecological diversity while simultaneously strengthening social justice in the Emsland region.
