Funding of the I.M. Leiendecker Foundation

The I.M. Leiendecker Foundation supports non-profit organizations in the Harburg district with continuously available grants for projects in the fields of social affairs and work & social affairs. Funded are initiatives that benefit multiple people with disabilities in need of assistance and sustainably improve their participation and quality of life. A prerequisite is a registered office or place of activity in the Harburg district, proof of non-profit status, and the project’s focus on the equipment, care, or social integration of people with disabilities. Applications can be submitted informally and at any time in writing to the foundation’s board. Evaluation is based on the justified project concept and the demonstrated benefit for the target group.

The funding includes, among other things, the procurement of aids, disability-accessible infrastructure measures, inclusive leisure and sports activities, as well as care and educational programs. The support aims to enable organizations to sustainably create added value for their participants and to dismantle existing barriers. The I.M. Leiendecker Foundation places particular emphasis on transparency and traceability in the use of funds. Interested organizations submit a detailed, justified, informal funding application clearly presenting objectives, timeline, and budget. This ensures that the provided funds are effectively used to promote inclusion and social participation.
