Funding of the IMM Foundation

Since 2003, the IMM Foundation has been supporting regional founders and non-profit organizations in Saxony with financial grants and professional guidance. Funding is provided primarily for projects in the fields of Science & Innovation, Sports & Health, Art & Culture, as well as initiatives for reconstruction in regions affected by natural disasters or conflicts. The foundation’s goal is to strengthen sustainable structures, secure historically significant projects in the Mittweida area, and support start-ups in developing their business models. Applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis, allowing for optimal accommodation of flexible project planning. A prerequisite for funding is the location or activity within the regional area of Mittweida or the federal state of Saxony.

Interested founders and non-profit representatives submit a detailed project proposal outlining objectives, work plan, and budget. In addition, the IMM Foundation offers cooperation opportunities with local partners such as Mittweida University, as well as networking events and professional consulting. Beyond financial resources, the foundation promotes the exchange of experience through exhibitions, readings, or sporting events and supports the preservation of listed buildings. With this broadly based funding approach, the IMM Foundation makes a tangible contribution to strengthening regional innovative capacity and the sustainable development of society in Saxony.
