Description
The Johann Wolfgang Langguth Foundation is committed nationwide to a wide range of projects in the areas of children and youth, health, social affairs, construction and monument preservation, culture, research & innovation, as well as environmental and nature conservation. Sponsorship grants are awarded throughout the year to enable families with children and adolescents who have intellectual, psychological, or physical disabilities to access therapy costs, platform and stair lifts, accessible vehicles, or other individual aids. In addition, the foundation is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of listed buildings, supports emerging artists and cultural institutions, as well as research initiatives in viticulture in the Mosel region. Measures for landscape maintenance and the protection of native animal populations—such as the swans on the Mosel—complete the foundation’s commitment.
Eligible for funding are private individuals, non-profit organizations, and public institutions implementing projects in the aforementioned funding areas. The foundation provides grants both for therapy costs and barrier-free infrastructure, as well as for restoration expenses, art and cultural projects, scientific studies, and nature conservation measures. Thanks to the continuous funding offer, applications can be submitted at any time, facilitating flexible planning and implementation of projects. Families, monument conservators, emerging artists, viticulture researchers, and initiatives in environmental and landscape protection find in the Johann Wolfgang Langguth Foundation a reliable partner for sustainable support and innovative project funding.
