Description
This funding offer is aimed at recognized associations, federations, as well as independent and public providers of youth welfare services in Saxony-Anhalt, who implement measures with statewide impact in youth work, youth associations, youth social work, and in educational child and youth protection. Grants support projects that promote young people’s self-determination, strengthen volunteer structures, and expand offerings for extracurricular education, international youth work, and youth education centers. The focus is on initiatives of supra-regional significance that particularly reach a broad public and strengthen social cohesion.
A prerequisite for funding is active engagement throughout the entire federal state, appropriate statutes, and educational concepts that guarantee youth participation. Additionally, employed staff must present a clean criminal record, and the proper implementation of the measure must be ensured. Recognized associations and federations can submit their applications to the Saxony-Anhalt State Administration Office by no later than October 1 of the previous year. The funding co-finances both personnel and administrative expenses as well as specific projects in youth social work and child and youth protection. This program offers a sustainable financing perspective for committed actors in youth work and promotes statewide initiatives benefiting young people.
