Description
The Julia and Rainald Rasemann Foundation for the Promotion of the Christian Faith supports individuals nationwide who are pursuing theological training at universities or Bible schools or who wish to engage in missionary-diaconal assignments abroad. Funding is provided to cover living expenses during the training or assignment period: a monthly grant of €50 is generally awarded for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. A prerequisite, in addition to personal financial need, is that the selection institution does not represent fundamentalist or politically right-conservative approaches. The selection is based on institutions that maintain a respectful and serious approach to the Bible.
Applications can be submitted at any time. The following documents are required for review: a meaningful letter of motivation, a tabular CV, an informal reference letter from a pastor, minister, or youth leader, a digital photo, and permission to use the image on the foundation’s website. After completion of the funded training phases, a brief report of experience is requested, which will be made available internally to the foundation. The foundation asks for understanding that, due to limited capacity, not all requests can be accommodated. Through its commitment, the Rasemann Foundation contributes to passing on the content of faith in a lively manner and strengthening church-related or diaconal vocational paths.
