Funding of the Just Hansen Foundation

The Just-Hansen Foundation in Schleswig-Holstein supports children and adolescents in need in Flensburg and the surrounding area who require assistance due to physical, mental, or emotional impairments. The focus is on therapy, rehabilitation, and other necessary support measures that contribute to improving quality of life and participation in everyday social life. The foundation grants approved subsidies flexibly and continuously to meet the individual needs of the applicants.

Eligible for funding are private individuals who can demonstrably not rely on any other cost bearer (e.g., health insurance or social welfare agency). The written application – by email, post, or in person – must include a detailed description of the goal and scope of the requested support. Subsequently, the foundation’s board reviews the submitted documents with empathy and in accordance with the statutes. Since applications can be submitted at any time, the foundation offers an uncomplicated and timely decision-making process. The funding is aimed at all those actively working in the fields of child and youth welfare, health, social services, as well as labor & social affairs to regain independence and well-being.
