Description
The kfd Foundation St. Hedwig supports charitable initiatives in Germany and worldwide that promote women and girls in cultural as well as social projects. The focus is particularly on new and innovative approaches that strengthen the target group's initiative, creativity, and self-efficacy. Eligible to apply are associations, interest groups, organizations, as well as private individuals with a charitable background. Funding amounts of up to 15,000 euros are granted as subsidies, with applications accepted year-round. The foundation covers a broad spectrum, including the promotion of women, promotion of girls, culture, media, work, and social affairs, placing great emphasis on projects that open up development opportunities and empower greater participation.
Supported are projects that explicitly target women and girls and demonstrate a clearly identifiable innovative or novel project approach.
