Description

The Klaus-Martin-Winkler Foundation Leipzig supports non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and private individuals in Saxony and beyond through a grant program aimed at promoting culture, social affairs, education, health, and commitment to social cohesion. Projects that develop young people into responsible, socially competent individuals can be funded, as can initiatives that ease or even enable everyday life for older adults. The focus is on intercultural exchange, international child and youth work, as well as measures for international understanding and peacekeeping. Furthermore, funding is allocated to research & innovation, child and youth projects, development cooperation, culture & media, labor & social affairs, vocational training & further education, as well as agriculture & rural development.

Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing for flexible support of spontaneous ideas and long-term initiatives. The call is aimed at projects that actively involve children, youth, and seniors in social participation, thereby making a sustainable contribution to social integration and cultural diversity. By combining educational, social, and cultural approaches, the foundation not only promotes immediate project goals but also contributes to the long-term strengthening of democratic structures. Interested project sponsors have the opportunity to use funding precisely for material costs, fees, or network building, thus implementing forward-looking concepts in the Saxony region.
