Funding of the King Ludwig I Foundation Bad Orb

The König Ludwig I. Foundation Bad Orb supports non-profit organizations and public institutions in the Hessen region that are dedicated to the promotion of education, upbringing, and care of children as well as public health services. With a regional focus on Bad Orb, third-party initiatives are provided with one-time or ongoing grants. The foundation’s purpose includes general youth welfare in Orb and public health care. Private applicants are excluded from funding to ensure that resources are used purposefully for non-profit and sustainable objectives.

Applications can be submitted at any time in writing via the management; however, there is no legal entitlement to funding. In awarding grants, priority is given to alignment with the foundation’s concept, consideration of sustainable aspects, and effectiveness in reaching the target groups. The amount of funding is determined individually and depends on the scope of the respective project. The decision-making process consists of a review by management and, if applicable, a board resolution for larger amounts.
