Support for the Cultural Foundation of Sparkasse Karlsruhe

The Cultural Foundation of Sparkasse Karlsruhe supports creative and monument preservation projects in the Baden-Württemberg region through its ongoing funding program. The aim is to preserve local cultural diversity and strengthen regional identity. Projects from the fields of visual arts, music, architecture and monument protection, as well as media initiatives that offer a sustainable societal and identity-forming added value, are supported. By financially backing restoration measures, artistic productions, or concerts, the foundation makes a decisive contribution to preserving and further developing both local traditions and innovative forms of expression. Each year, it becomes impressively clear how diverse culture acts as a driving force for community and quality of life.

Eligible to apply are non-profit associations, municipalities, educational institutions, public bodies, as well as artists and cultural practitioners based or active in the Karlsruhe region. Proof of non-profit status and a clear cultural relevance of the project are prerequisites. Eligible expenses include material and restoration costs, project budgets, or flat-rate fees. Selection is based on the criteria of regional significance, cultural added value, identity-forming impact, and sustainability. Applications can be submitted year-round, allowing flexible planning and timely implementation of cultural initiatives. In this way, the Cultural Foundation specifically promotes engagement that keeps the region’s cultural heritage vibrant and future-proof.
