Description
The MAHLE-STIFTUNG GmbH enables annual funding for approximately 150 non-profit institutions and time-limited projects with a future-oriented character. Supported are initiatives based on practical anthroposophy and situated in the fields of education and upbringing, health and care, agriculture and nutrition, art and culture, as well as science and research. Eligible for funding are exclusively organizations, educational institutions, and foundations recognized as non-profit in Germany. Project-related personnel and material costs, investments, as well as expenses for materials and events can be financed as grants. General household costs as well as construction and renovation projects are excluded from funding.
An application can be submitted at any time via the online application portal; paper applications will be accepted during the transition period until 30.06.2026. Required are a fully completed application form, a signed financing plan, budget and annual financial statements, statutes, non-profit status certificate, as well as an excerpt from the association or commercial register. Evaluation is based on innovation content, future orientation, sustainability, impact, and a clear financing structure with proven own contribution. A duration of up to 12 months ensures focus on forward-looking results, while follow-up applications for longer-term developments remain possible. Institutions meeting the stated requirements receive an initial substantive assessment through an informal preliminary inquiry before the full application is submitted for funding decision.
