Funding of the Matthias Claudius Foundation Bochum

The Matthias Claudius Foundation Bochum supports educational and social-diaconal projects in North Rhine-Westphalia that pursue an integrative and intergenerational approach. Non-profit organizations and public institutions can apply for financial grants within ongoing funding opportunities for initiatives in the fields of education, training and further education, social affairs, as well as work & social services. The foundation particularly supports projects that enable integrative learning and living in extracurricular areas such as leisure, housing, and work, thereby sustainably advancing the objectives of the Matthias Claudius School. Applications can be submitted at any time, provided that all funded measures align with the foundation’s purposes.

Funding is provided for students and participants with and without disabilities, as well as all other users of the educational and social-diaconal services. The grants contribute to strengthening inclusive structures and facilitating intergenerational encounters – ranging from leisure projects and assisted living to vocational qualification measures.
