Description
The Merck Finck Foundation provides nationwide funding in the form of grants for non-profit organizations engaged in the fields of education, child and youth welfare, as well as elderly care. Under the guiding principle “Preserving values – shaping the future”, projects are supported that set sustainable impulses in important future-oriented areas. Initiatives aimed at improving the quality of school and vocational training, promoting social cohesion among young people, and enhancing the care and support of older generations are funded. The funding amount can cover up to 100% of the eligible total costs without requiring proof of own funds. Thanks to continuous application submission, the timing of submissions remains flexible.
Eligible for funding are institutions recognized as non-profit in Germany that submit a complete project application in accordance with the funding guidelines. In addition to the completed application, a current exemption notice or equivalent proof of non-profit status must be provided. After a positive decision by the foundation’s board, the payment is made directly to the applicant’s account or an established escrow account. For the proof of use, documentation including a report and receipts must be submitted after project completion. Through this transparent structure, the foundation supports impact-oriented initiatives and thus promotes the long-term development of socially relevant topics.
