Funding by the Mirmohammedi Foundation supports non-profit associations, interest groups, and initiatives in Baden-Württemberg that are committed to democracy, social justice, and intercultural exchange. The foundation's goal is to strengthen social cohesion through projects that protect human rights and promote international understanding—especially where public funds are insufficient. Funding opportunities are continuously available and explicitly target organizations that can prove their non-profit status and implement a concrete project in the fields of human rights, cultural encounters, or the integration of migrants. This funding supports local, regional, and international initiatives that oppose racism, oppression, and anti-Semitism and create spaces for encounters between different cultures.
The foundation’s sponsorship aims to promote initiatives in the areas of migration, culture, labor & social affairs, as well as media, and to invigorate democratic discourse in society. Application documents can be submitted at any time; there is no deadline-bound call for proposals. Projects with a sustainable character that bring together the engagement of citizens and various stakeholders are particularly supported. A prerequisite for approval, in addition to proof of non-profit status, is a clear presentation of the planned activities in line with the foundation’s objectives. In doing so, the Mirmohammedi Foundation makes an important contribution to promoting tolerance, freedom, and solidarity and calls on non-profit organizations to submit their innovative concepts and jointly strengthen social cohesion.
