Funding of the MVV Foundation Future (Initiative Applications / General Funding Application)

Funding by the MVV Zukunft Foundation (Initiative Applications) offers individuals and non-profit organizations nationwide the opportunity to implement innovative projects for the energy transition and a sustainable society. The foundation supports initiatives in the fields of environmental/nature conservation, climate protection, research & innovation, education, culture, social cohesion/democracy, energy efficiency & renewable energies, vocational training & further education, as well as labor & social affairs. Funding is provided as a grant, with ongoing submissions possible. Eligible applicants are EU citizens and public-benefit oriented entities whose projects align with the foundation’s objectives. Personnel costs, material and equipment expenses, as well as travel costs are funded within the framework of a transparent cost and financing plan.

The funding objective is to strengthen collective approaches to shaping the energy transition and a climate-friendly society. Evaluation focuses on alignment with the foundation’s purposes, sustainability and impact potential, as well as the quality of the concept, timeline, and budget. Applications require a completed application form, a project description, a detailed cost and financing plan, and, if applicable, a certificate of non-profit status. The application process is straightforward via PDF form and email, enabling diverse initiatives to be supported immediately. With this funding program, the MVV Zukunft Foundation creates a platform where creative ideas and committed projects jointly pave the way toward a future-proof energy and societal transformation.
