Description
The Nospa Youth and Sports Foundation Nordfriesland supports non-profit clubs, interest groups, and public institutions within the business area of the Nord-Ostsee-Sparkasse in implementing projects in the fields of youth welfare and sports. Funding is provided primarily for acquisitions for sports clubs as well as creative leisure activities for children and adolescents in the Nordfriesland region. The foundation’s goal is to enhance the quality of life for young people through financial grants and to strengthen local engagement. Requirements include an application by a tax-privileged corporation headquartered within the Nospa funding area and a project start that has not yet begun, including verifiable own contributions, to avoid full co-financing.
Eligible for funding are equipment and supply acquisitions that directly promote sports and leisure activities. Printing and production costs, fees, construction measures, acquisitions that belong to the core operational activities, as well as costly cultural assets are not supported. Applications are submitted exclusively digitally; the decision-making committee usually meets twice a year – in spring and autumn. Interested organizations may submit project ideas by the respective deadlines. The foundation places special emphasis on the sustainable impact of each measure and rewards creative concept management as well as the active participation of applicants on site.
