Support for the ÖH Cafeteria Voucher Campaign

The financial support assists the meal voucher campaign of the Austrian Students' Union at the University of Innsbruck and is specifically aimed at socially disadvantaged students from Vorarlberg. Since January 1, 2018, the state has continuously provided subsidies to enable price reductions in the campus cafeterias. As a contribution from the areas of Social Affairs, Education, and Work & Social Affairs, this initiative alleviates the daily study routine and strengthens equal opportunities. Through needs-based support, not only is a balanced diet promoted, but also a positive learning environment is created in which all students can work towards their academic success regardless of their financial situation.

Eligible to participate are private individuals enrolled at the University of Innsbruck, registered in Vorarlberg, and recognized as socially needy. The subsidy can be applied for at any time, as the funding is continuously valid. The application must include a valid student ID, a registration certificate from Vorarlberg, and an official proof of social need. As proof of social need, decisions from the student grant authority or comparable documents may be submitted. After successful review, a discount voucher is issued, the amount of which is based on the determined need and communicated in the approval notice. The Department of Science and Continuing Education of the State of Vorarlberg is responsible for the funding procedure, coordinating all steps and issuing the written decisions.
