Description
The OSPA Foundation continuously awards grants for non-profit projects in the fields of art, culture, media & music, sports, as well as child and youth development. Initiatives are supported that are implemented within the business area of OstseeSparkasse Rostock – Hanseatic City of Rostock and Rostock District – and that actively involve a broad public. Recipients are non-profit associations, federations, or other organizations with headquarters or operational activities in the region. The once contributed foundation capital remains permanently available for charitable purposes and ensures reliable support for local initiatives.
Prerequisites for a positive decision are a meaningful application, proof of non-profit status, the location of the project within the specified business area, and the involvement of a large target group. A complete funding application includes, in addition to the completed application form, a detailed project description, for amounts from €5,000 a cost and financing plan, as well as bank details and tax number. The clarity of project objectives, the charitable character, the reach among participants, and the relevance to the specified funding areas are evaluated. Applications can be submitted at any time – there is no fixed deadline. Interested associations and organizations receive all necessary documents and instructions for the application process directly from the OSPA Foundation.
