Description
With the Quality and Plant Protection Program, the Carinthian state government promotes targeted measures to secure and further develop plant production in the state. Under the thematic area Agriculture & Rural Development, subject- and target group-specific events including teaching and course materials (§ 28 K-LFF 2023) are supported, while at the same time an integrated plant protection concept (§ 29) is established through warning and weather services, specialized personnel in the plant protection service, as well as the control of viruses and harmful organisms. These measures not only enhance product quality but also establish a resource-conserving and sustainable mode of production. The funding line, originally launched on July 15, 2023, is continuously available and provides an important stimulus for regional value creation.
Eligible for funding are natural and legal persons as well as partnerships with a registered office in Carinthia who are active in plant agricultural production. The funding rate is up to 100% of the eligible personnel expenses, material costs, and investment costs. In addition to a project outline, prerequisites include proof of coordination with agricultural and forestry research institutions, exclusion of double funding, and a properly completed application with project description, coordination proof, and declaration of commitment. Applications can be submitted at any time without deadline restrictions. This tailored financing option strengthens the economic viability of enterprises and promotes a future-proof plant production in Carinthia.
