Description

For over two decades, the Prof. Dr. Ernst Langner Foundation has supported a wide range of initiatives throughout Germany that are engaged in the social, cultural, and musical sectors. With a special focus on jazz education, it promotes innovative project ideas that appeal to young people interested in culture and invest sustainably in their development. Whether concerts, competitions, workshops, or networking events – the foundation is committed to strengthening artistic education in all its facets and expanding access to the world of jazz. Through continuous, uncomplicated grants, it enables non-profit organizations, educational institutions, interest groups, associations, as well as private individuals to finance their projects flexibly and with reliable planning.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations and individuals who submit convincing project descriptions and, if necessary, provide proof of non-profit status. The program is particularly aimed at initiatives in the fields of culture, music, education, children and youth, as well as social affairs and media. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing for both short-term planning and long-term project development. The goal is to provide impulses that not only promote artistic skills but also strengthen social engagement and participation. Interested project sponsors are encouraged to submit their concepts and, through targeted funding, set new impulses for the jazz scene and the cultural life of young people in Germany.
