Description

The S. and W. Quaisser Foundation supports talented orphans and social orphans nationwide who grow up in SOS Children's Village e.V. facilities and lack parental support. The foundation's goal is to facilitate young people's transition into a successful professional life. To this end, continuous grants are available in the form of scholarships, language course funding, and stays abroad. Additionally, necessary training and aid materials are provided to optimally support individual educational paths. Furthermore, the foundation places special emphasis on creative development and the allocation of funds for art and music projects, enabling participants to develop their talents in various fields.

Applications for funding can be submitted at any time. A prerequisite for receiving support is formal admission to an SOS Children's Village facility as well as the status of orphan or social orphan. Eligible expenses include, among others, study, training, and travel scholarships, costs for language courses, stays abroad, and the purchase of books, tools, or musical instruments. Moreover, master classes and other specialized advanced training measures in painting and music are supported. The foundation's commitment is explicitly aimed at young talents without family support, providing them with a solid foundation for personal and professional prospects.
