Funding of the SBV Foundation Helmut Schumann (general project and individual case funding)

The SBV Helmut Schumann Foundation supports intergenerational neighborhood and community initiatives in Flensburg and additionally assists individuals in need. In the funding areas of social affairs, child and youth work, as well as engagement for social cohesion and democracy, projects, events, and individual case assistance are subsidized through grants. The foundation's goal is to strengthen togetherness within the districts, promote cooperative community, and sustainably improve the living conditions of socially disadvantaged people through financial contributions. To meet the funding requirements, an informal application with a concrete description of the concern and the desired funding amount is sufficient. The foundation values concise project descriptions and transparent cost estimates. There is no deadline for applications; submissions can be made at any time. The awarding decision is made regardless of nationality and particularly considers intergenerational initiatives as well as offers for seniors, youth groups, and families.
