Funding of the SchellerVoß Foundation

The SchellerVoß Foundation tirelessly promotes palliative medical care for adults with life-threatening illnesses in Bremen and the district of Verden. As a non-profit institution under the umbrella of the Kreissparkasse Verden Foundation, it specifically supports palliative care facilities, support associations, and networks. The funding objective is to sustainably improve and preserve the quality of life of severely ill individuals and to enable a dignified, self-determined life until the end. Foundation initiatives such as the Palliative Care Unit at Klinikum Links der Weser e.V. in Bremen or the Palliative Network in the district of Verden e.V. already benefit from grants that advance the expansion of care services, training in the palliative field, and the networking of interdisciplinary experts.

Only non-profit organizations based in Bremen or the district of Verden that are active in palliative medical care are eligible for funding. Applications can be submitted year-round by submitting a fully completed application form. Available project funds can be flexibly used for staff qualification, infrastructure measures, or coordination work in regional care networks. In doing so, the SchellerVoß Foundation makes an important contribution to securing palliative care services in northern Germany and invites institutions, associations, and cooperation partners to apply for funding approval.
