Funding of the Pastoral Care Foundation Upper Franconia (Pastoral Care Projects in the Bayreuth Church District)

The Pastoral Care Foundation of Upper Franconia continuously supports pastoral care projects in the Bayreuth church district with the aim of maintaining and expanding pastoral care services in various areas. The focus of the funding is the Telephone Pastoral Care East Upper Franconia/Bayreuth, whose continuation is ensured through personnel cost subsidies. In addition, initiatives in church congregations, hospitals, correctional facilities, as well as in emergency, senior home, and tourism pastoral care are supported. Pastoral care deployments in disaster relief can also be funded to provide valuable support and counseling to people in exceptional situations. Applications can be submitted at any time, ensuring timely and unbureaucratic assistance.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, public institutions, interest groups, and associations from the Bayreuth church district. Particularly supported are diaconal sponsors and institutions active in the aforementioned areas. Grants can be applied for both personnel costs and technical and organizational equipment. Thus, the foundation contributes to ensuring that pastoral caregivers remain operational wherever pastoral support is urgently needed.
