Funding of the Sieger Köder Foundation – Art and Bible

The Sieger-Köder Foundation – Art and Bible supports non-profit organizations, foundations, and public institutions in Baden-Württemberg that are engaged in the field of Christian art as well as in the communication and exploration of the biblical message. In particular, the foundation supports the long-term documentation of Sieger Köder’s oeuvre at the Sieger-Köder Museum Image and Bible in Ellwangen, as well as the operation of the associated spiritual center. As the sponsor of an ongoing funding program, it provides grants in the form of subsidies and enables sustainable artistic engagement with Christian motifs – from exhibitions and publications to innovative mediation projects. Applications can be submitted at any time, provided the proposed project meets the foundation’s purpose and the evaluation criteria of “alignment with the foundation’s purpose,” “quality of artistic implementation,” and “sustainability of the project.”

The funding is aimed at ecclesiastical and cultural institutions, museums and spiritual centers, as well as non-profit organizations and cultural practitioners with a focus on Christian art. Projects for the documentation and presentation of Sieger Köder’s works, as well as initiatives that explore and disseminate biblical impulses in creative forms, are supported. By supporting exhibitions, research, or educational offerings, the foundation contributes to the lively communication of spiritual themes and helps strengthen cultural identity in the region. Interested organizations and initiatives are invited to submit their project ideas in accordance with the funding requirements and thus become part of a committed network for art, culture, and the Bible.
