Description
The Sparkassenstiftung GUTES TUN – Donor Network of Sparkasse Karlsruhe supports non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and public entities throughout the state of Baden-Württemberg with continuously accessible grants. Funding from the returns on its endowment capital as well as from the foundation funds managed under its umbrella flows into projects in the areas of children and youth, social affairs, health, disaster relief, education, research & innovation, science, environmental and nature conservation, animal protection, culture, sports, work & social affairs, vocational training & continuing education, as well as energy efficiency & climate protection. Thanks to the diversity of the donor network, funding purposes can be tailored individually to equally serve the well-being of people, animals, and the environment. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing for both short-term project starts and long-term initiatives.
A prerequisite for funding is a registered office in the Karlsruhe region as well as recognized non-profit status. The foundation places great value on transparency and flexibility: whether for the procurement of teaching materials, renovation of sports facilities, or the establishment of first aid training – the amount of funding depends on the respective need and the available foundation capital. Interested donors also have the opportunity within the network to establish their own funds or support existing projects through additional donations. Through this commitment, a shared platform is created that promotes sustainable development in education, culture, environment, and social initiatives, thereby permanently improving the quality of life in the region.
