Description
The promotion of specialized short-term care at home in Tyrol is aimed at individuals in need of care with high support requirements, for example due to long-term ventilation, as well as their caregiving relatives. With an annual funding volume of up to 28 days or 672 hours, hourly or daily care services in the home environment are made possible when inpatient short-term care facilities cannot be utilized due to the specialized nature of the care required. This subsidy measure provides sustainable relief for relatives and guarantees professional care in a familiar environment. Private individuals with a net income of up to 2,500 euros (single persons) are also eligible for funding, as are households whose income limits are increased by 400 euros per additional person or by 600 euros in the case of eligible relatives with disabilities.
Applications can be submitted year-round, with only short-term care services at home recognized as eligible expenses. The Tyrolean state administration provides the necessary guidelines through the Care Department and supports the implementation of individual care concepts. This targeted funding not only improves the quality of care but also strengthens the compatibility of caregiving commitments with everyday life. Interested families and households can find comprehensive information on submission requirements and application procedures at the Tyrolean State Administration in the Health & Prevention sector.
