Support for the Sahlkamp-Vahrenheide District Foundation

Since its founding, the Sahlkamp-Vahrenheide District Foundation has supported the local community in the districts of Sahlkamp and Vahrenheide through interest income from the foundation’s capital as well as incoming donations. Projects and institutions dedicated to education, general and vocational training including student assistance, as well as welfare services, are funded. Over the course of 15 years, more than 200 initiatives have already been supported with a total of approximately EUR 206,000. The foundation capital currently amounts to about EUR 92,000 and is continuously growing to ensure sustainable long-term support. The tax-exempt charitable status guarantees that all funds are used exclusively and directly for charitable purposes.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and public entities with project locations in Sahlkamp or Vahrenheide. A prerequisite for application is engagement in the fields of education, general or vocational training, or welfare services, as well as the submission of the respective current funding application. Applications can be submitted at any time, thereby supporting flexible project management and spontaneous initiatives alike. The completed funding application is available for download on the foundation’s website and constitutes the only required application document. Decisions are made promptly based on the available interest income and current donation volume.
