Description
The Stemmler Foundation is committed nationwide to supporting destitute and needy children and adolescents, including refugee minors. Private individuals can continuously submit funding applications and receive grants for class trips, holiday camps, as well as mother-child and father-child cures. In addition, support is provided for the acquisition of urgently needed equipment such as school bags, sports bags, computers, and printers. In acute emergencies, assistance extends to food, therapies, and tutoring to ensure that no young person is excluded from educational or recreational opportunities due to financial barriers.
Expenses for both school-related and extracurricular activities are funded – ranging from cultural and leisure events to health-promoting cure measures. The foundation also provides grants for leisure and cultural activities to strengthen social participation. Particularly important is the coverage of costs for food and meals in crisis situations. The funding goal is to create equal opportunities in the long term and to support young people on their educational path. Applications are handled unbureaucratically and without fixed deadlines; cooperation with social organizations and church communities supports the individual assessment of needs. In this way, the Stemmler Foundation contributes to enabling children and adolescents to actively participate in social life and effectively promotes their personal development.
