Funding of the Aufwind Foundation

The Aufwind Foundation provides long-term support to non-profit projects in Baden-Württemberg that promote social cohesion and offer valuable impulses to children and young people. As a funding measure in the areas of commitment to social cohesion and democracy, development cooperation, child and youth welfare, as well as agriculture and rural development, the funding is aimed at registered associations, foundations, and interest groups. With 100 percent grant funding, the Aufwind Foundation accompanies selected initiatives through personal exchange and regional integration to ensure sustainable impact on site. Projects that are particularly committed to the development of children and young people and additionally contribute to strengthening community and solidarity are given preferential consideration.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis without a fixed deadline, providing flexibility for project sponsors. Funding prerequisites include a location in Baden-Württemberg and a demonstrable contribution to the promotion of children and young people. Sustainable project planning, regional networking, and relevance to young people play a central role in the selection process. Interested initiatives can submit their eligible projects with a description of objectives, target group, and planned implementation. Based on a thorough review, the Aufwind Foundation covers all project costs up to the amount of the financial requirement, thereby making an important contribution to the responsible support of social initiatives in the region.
