Funding of the FOUNDATION EDUCATION & ART (Project Funding Education & Art in Bavaria)

The project funding of the non-profit foundation EDUCATION & ART is aimed at associations, interest groups, and educational institutions that implement innovative initiatives in the fields of education, upbringing, science, and art in Bavaria. Since its founding in 2001 by Dr. Hans Novotny in Schwabach, the foundation has supported initiatives that promote young learners, enable intercultural encounters, and strengthen equal opportunities from early childhood. A holistic educational approach with a special focus on artistic and cultural elements combines theoretical impulses with practical implementation and contributes to sustainably unfolding creative potentials. Funded projects include collaborations with universities, local schools, and cultural institutions, as well as the annually awarded Dr. Hans Novotny Prize for outstanding master’s theses by international students at WiSo Nürnberg.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and associations pursuing a charitable purpose and presenting a project within the Bavaria region. One-time grants are awarded; applications can be submitted continuously via email. A prerequisite is proof of non-profit status as well as a meaningful concept that corresponds to the funding priorities. The foundation thus offers a reliable financing opportunity for initiatives aiming to initiate and sustainably develop educational and art projects in the long term. Through continuous support, a network is created that strengthens creative ideas and intensifies cultural dialogue within the region.
