Funding of the Ev.-Luth. Johannes Church Congregation Hamburg-Rissen Foundation

The Ev.-Luth. Johannes Church Community Foundation Hamburg-Rissen continuously supports charitable initiatives in the areas of social cohesion, democracy, education, social affairs, as well as vocational training and further education in Hamburg. Through a grant model, the foundation supports both smaller and larger projects, finances personnel positions, and contributes to the vibrant shaping of community life. The goal is to sustainably position the Ev.-Luth. Johannes community for the future and to strengthen the active involvement of the Rissen population in church-related and community projects. Funding is provided for material and operational costs, project expenses, as well as the financing of personnel measures to sustainably enable engagement, further education, and social participation.

Eligible for funding are charitable organizations, public institutions, as well as private individuals with proven activity within the scope of the Ev.-Luth. Johannes Church Community Hamburg-Rissen. Applications can be submitted at any time, as the foundation continuously receives donations and allocates funds. Decisions on approval are made promptly in coordination with the board and advisory council, which consist of experts and representatives of the community. The foundation invites interested parties to submit project ideas to actively help shape church and social life in Rissen and secure it for future generations.
