Description
The funding provided by the Fair Chance for Children Foundation supports non-profit organizations, educational institutions, interest groups, and associations across Germany in the development and implementation of educational and integration projects for disadvantaged children and adolescents. The goal is to enable disadvantaged young people to access both in-school and out-of-school education, strengthen their language skills, and promote their participation in social life. This includes programs for equipping schools and kindergartens as well as targeted language support measures. Applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis, allowing initiatives flexible project planning.
Funding is primarily provided for material costs related to educational and integration measures, investments in learning and play materials, and the equipment of care facilities. Carriers that develop sustainable programs for social participation or organize intercultural encounters are also eligible for grants. Requirements include the non-profit status of the applying institution and a clear focus of the project on disadvantaged children and adolescents. Through this continuous funding opportunity, the Foundation contributes to strengthening social cohesion and opens up new perspectives for young people.
