Description

The "Give Me Your Hand!" Foundation supports projects nationwide by educational and charitable institutions as well as public bodies that aim to assist children, adolescents, and young adults in developing their talents and education. Through open-ended application submissions, funding partners can flexibly apply for grants to create freely accessible learning and development spaces. The focus is on projects that do not regard social background as a barrier but specifically work to dismantle obstacles. Special attention is given to cooperation with schools, church communities, or other nonprofit organizations to jointly plan and accompany committed, sustainable initiatives. The initiative's goal is to unlock the potential of young people and thereby strengthen equal opportunities and social participation in the long term.

Criteria such as the potential for individual talent development, contribution to equal opportunities, and social engagement are decisive for selecting the funded projects. The foundation actively supports each approved measure: after thorough review, foundation representatives visit institutions on-site to develop funding plans together with the project managers. This participatory approach ensures that the supported programs are precisely tailored to the needs of disadvantaged young people and sustainably improve their educational opportunities. Thus, "Give Me Your Hand!" not only provides immediate help for self-help but also contributes to the positive long-term development of society as a whole.
