Support of the Grunewald Gymnasium Foundation

The Grunewald-Gymnasium Foundation has been committed to promoting education since 2005 and sustainably shapes school life at the Walther-Rathenau School in the Berlin district of Grunewald. As a public funding body, it supports a variety of initiatives in the fields of education for sustainable development, digitalization, culture, sports, as well as vocational training and further education. Uncomplicated grants are available for the procurement of teaching and learning materials, project and event costs, as well as for awards (for example, graduation bonuses). Through this decades-long commitment, both learners and teachers benefit equally: innovative teaching media, modern technology, and creative cultural or sports projects are continuously enabled and enrich everyday school life.

Interested parties from the school community can submit applications and funding requests throughout the year – there is no fixed deadline. The foundation values an unbureaucratic process, allowing for quick decisions and prompt disbursements. Public institutions, especially the Walther-Rathenau School itself, receive support in further developing their educational offerings and digital infrastructure.
