Support of the Grunewald Gymnasium Foundation

The Grunewald-Gymnasium Foundation continuously supports school initiatives at the Walther-Rathenau-School (Gymnasium) in Berlin-Grunewald. As a non-profit organization, it has been supporting educational projects and teaching and learning materials with straightforward grants since 2005. Eligible to apply are public and private educational institutions that aim to directly strengthen students, teachers, and school project groups in Berlin. The focus areas include education, children and youth, vocational training & further education, as well as work & social affairs. Funding can be applied for throughout the year, allowing for prompt responses to current needs. The goal is to sustainably improve the quality of teaching and the school community.

A wide range of expenses are funded: material costs for teaching and learning materials, awards for outstanding Abitur achievements, technical equipment such as hardware or media, as well as event costs for commemorative and educational events. Domain and web hosting costs for school websites are also eligible items. The financial support directly benefits the equipment, digital infrastructure, and recognition of special school achievements. These measures optimize learning processes, increase motivation, and acknowledge the commitment of all involved.
