Funding of the Himmelfahrtskirche Pasing Foundation

The Himmelfahrtskirche Pasing Foundation is dedicated to the long-term preservation of an outstanding Art Nouveau building in the western part of Munich. It supports the structural maintenance of the Himmelfahrtskirche, the care and servicing of the historic organ, as well as the upkeep of furnishings and liturgical devices. Furthermore, the foundation uses its proceeds to assist needy members of the Evangelical Lutheran parish of Pasing and to relieve pastors in their pastoral duties. As a complement to regular donations, it secures the future of the parish by accepting endowments starting from 500 euros and preserving the foundation capital permanently. Thanks to its charitable status and tax deductibility, endowers and legacy donors alike benefit from financial advantages.

Contributions can be made at any time and are exclusively allocated to ecclesiastical and social projects within the parish. Eligible applicants include private individuals, companies, foundations, non-profit organizations, as well as public institutions in Bavaria. Eligible expenses encompass building maintenance, organ servicing, upkeep of furnishings and devices, as well as social support services for needy parish members. To apply, the completed contact form, a tax certificate, and, if applicable, a testamentary disposition are required. The independent foundation supervision is carried out by the Regional Church Council of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria. By their contribution, endowers help to secure the Himmelfahrtskirche Pasing as a vibrant place of encounter and spiritual guidance for future generations.
