Description

Since 2001, the Hospitalhof Stuttgart Foundation has supported the diverse educational, art, cultural, and music initiatives of the Protestant Education Center Hospitalhof Stuttgart with its capital. The focus of the funding is on concerts, exhibitions, lectures, and seminars that promote an open, prejudice-free climate of discussion based on a Christian-humanistic view of humanity. At the same time, the foundation contributes to the preservation and structural development of the historic building in Stuttgart. Continuous grants from the returns on the foundation’s assets enable projects that keep the adult education mission alive and sensitize the urban community to current social, political, and economic developments. The long-term capital endowment aims to support the education center almost independently and thus provide sustainable impulses for art and culture in Baden-Württemberg.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations and public institutions that wish to implement educational, cultural, or music projects in accordance with a tax-privileged purpose (§ 58 AO). Church and ideological initiatives, cultural and artistic creators, as well as mediation venues equally benefit from the grants. There is no deadline: applications and endowments can be submitted at any time. Applicants receive support in planning and implementing programs that promote interdisciplinary exchange and lifelong learning. Through its funding, the foundation makes a significant contribution to cultural diversity and a future-oriented educational offering in the Stuttgart region and beyond.
