Description
The funding provided by the Stiftung Jugendarbeit Schleswig-Holstein supports innovative approaches in independent youth work by offering non-profit organizations in Schleswig-Holstein the opportunity to implement projects that strengthen youth associations, youth councils, and youth initiatives. Within the framework of the program, measures, events, and projects in the areas of education, children and youth, vocational training & further education, as well as work & social affairs are supported. The primary focus is on the sustainable support of successful and creative ideas, which also include full-day offerings in schools. With a funding amount of up to €10,000 per project, member organizations are enabled to develop high-quality offerings that serve not only individual development but also the strengthening of social cohesion among young people.
The initiative explicitly targets those active in the non-profit sector who are committed to non-profit youth work. A prerequisite for support is the fulfillment of professional standards as well as the economically sensible use of the provided funds. Additionally, an appropriate level of own contribution is required, and it is ensured that the projects promote the goals of the Basic Law. The continuous application procedure allows interested organizations to submit their funding projects flexibly and on an ongoing basis. This openness in the application process aims to increasingly embrace innovative ideas and reorientations in youth work and to sustainably expand their scope of impact.
Thus, the Stiftung Jugendarbeit Schleswig-Holstein not only promotes the development of creative concepts but also contributes to the professionalization and modernization of youth work in the region. The financial support aims to strengthen local structures by intensifying the participation of young people in social processes. Moreover, the provided funds enable the involved actors to independently initiate new projects and achieve synergistic effects within municipal networks. Overall, this funding program makes a significant contribution to cultural and social integration by bringing together people committed to the future of their region. Interested organizations can thus become part of a dynamic network clearly dedicated to progress and innovation in youth work.
