Funding of the Kinderglück Foundation (Funding Application)

The Kinderglück Foundation offers non-profit associations, foundations, cooperatives, and interest groups in Germany the opportunity to apply for financial support for projects benefiting socially disadvantaged and neglected children and adolescents up to 17 years of age. A practical quick-check allows for uncomplicated verification of eligibility before submitting the full application. Funding is provided as an unrestricted grant and is available on an ongoing basis, enabling initiatives to submit project ideas year-round in the areas of education, health, migration, engagement for social cohesion, as well as vocational training and further education.

The goal is the sustainable improvement of living conditions and equal opportunities for young people in difficult life situations. Funding prerequisites include the organization’s registered office in Germany, proof of non-profit status, and the project’s focus on children and adolescents experiencing illness, hardship, or social disadvantage. Applications can be submitted continuously and are open to all institutions wishing to contribute with innovative concepts for participation and support. Decisions are made by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees based on the application content; subsequent use of funds and results are evaluated both quantitatively and qualitatively to ensure targeted and effective support.
