Since its official recognition in 2007, the “Kirche sein – Region Hannover” Foundation has supported ecclesiastical and welfare initiatives in the Lower Saxony region. As a non-profit organization, it provides financial resources in the form of grants and primarily promotes projects that focus on disadvantaged individuals. Pastoral and Caritas initiatives as well as church-cultural offerings equally benefit from ongoing support. Applications can be submitted throughout the year by non-profit organizations, public institutions, or educational providers based or actively operating in the Hannover region.
