Description

The Roland and Margot Kamm Lebenshilfe Foundation is committed nationwide to disadvantaged children and youth and supports projects that directly contribute to alleviating child and youth poverty. Non-profit organizations and public institutions can submit applications on an ongoing basis to implement targeted measures in the funding regions of Remstal, Eastern Europe, and the Philippines. The focus is on both direct aid – such as the provision of medicines, food, and heating materials – and help for self-help through holiday camps and excursions that enable social participation and educational impulses.

Clear criteria apply to the selection of funded projects: needs-based relevance, sustainability, as well as transparency and accountability shape the decision-making process. Applicants must demonstrate that their project is implemented in the specified regions and makes a sustainable contribution to poverty reduction. As a sponsorship instrument, the support aims to overcome structural disadvantages and create stable life prospects in the long term. The foundation places particular emphasis on gender-neutral project descriptions and supports participants regardless of origin or gender. Through continuous funding and a clear support strategy, the Roland and Margot Kamm Foundation offers non-profit organizations solid planning security and helps to significantly improve living conditions in particularly precarious life situations.
