Description
Since its founding, the Perspektive Usedom Foundation has supported non-profit organizations in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in the implementation of sustainable projects. The funding program supports projects in the areas of environmental and nature conservation, education for sustainable development, animal welfare, energy efficiency & climate protection, as well as social affairs and vocational & further training. A prerequisite is that the project has not yet started and that a clear concept is presented which aligns with the Foundation’s objectives. A convincing project description of 1–4 pages, including information on costs, own funds, and possible additional funding, lays the foundation for a successful application review. Cost estimates as well as supplementary documents can be submitted as attachments to transparently substantiate the planning.
Submissions are possible at any time, making the program a flexible funding opportunity for initiatives on Usedom. In the selection process, particular emphasis is placed on the non-profit nature of the project, its sustainability aspects, and the alignment with the Foundation’s goals. The aim is to strengthen forward-looking initiatives and create synergies between local actors, experts, and funders. Applicants thus have the opportunity to realize projects that make a measurable contribution to regional development and have a lasting impact. The award is granted as a subsidy to effectively complement the organizations’ own funds and promote sustainable commitment.
