Funding by the Pro Sankt Hedwig Foundation

The Pro St. Hedwig Foundation supports charitable initiatives within the Catholic parish of St. Hedwig in Stuttgart-Möhringen and Sonnenberg. Eligible for funding are projects by groups and initiatives committed to children and youth, families, seniors, or people in economic, emotional, or physical distress. Public institutions and nonprofit organizations affiliated with the parish may apply for grants on an ongoing basis. The funds serve to secure and further develop parish life, social assistance services, and church-related purposes and are available throughout the year.

The focus of the funding is on projects related to child and youth work, neighborhood assistance, intergenerational meeting places, and pastoral care offerings. Additionally, investments in church music, sacred art and architecture, as well as necessary structural measures are supported. The foundation’s goal is to sustainably strengthen the engagement of all generations and to assist people in need. Applications are accepted without deadlines; the only binding requirement is affiliation with the Catholic parish of St. Hedwig Stuttgart-Möhringen/Sonnenberg. An independent board of trustees decides on the allocation of grants to ensure transparent and ethically responsible use of funds.
