The Udo and Johanna Kunz Foundation enables innovative projects in Baden-Württemberg that strengthen intergenerational neighborhood structures and social services within districts. Private individuals, non-profit organizations, and public institutions can continuously apply for grants to implement meeting opportunities or assistance services in the vicinity of the Siegmeer residential complex in Lörrach-Hauingen. The focus is on activities that promote interaction between young and old – ranging from joint gatherings in the barrier-free community center to voluntary sponsorships and neighborhood everyday support. Particular consideration is given to measures that sustainably enhance the quality of life on site and support social cohesion within the district.

Under the umbrella of this funding, diverse areas of engagement unfold: district work, senior assistance, intergenerational encounter formats, or projects in agriculture and regional development.
