Funding of the ius vivum Study Foundation

The Studienstiftung ius vivum supports students, doctoral candidates, and early-career researchers nationwide in the field of Civil Law. The aim is to facilitate scientific engagement and international exchange projects in an uncomplicated manner. Applications can be submitted without fixed deadlines, allowing funding to be made available flexibly and promptly. The selection of beneficiaries is carried out swiftly and unbureaucratically by the board to sustainably secure scientific progress in the legal field.

Funding includes, among other things, subsidies for participation in seminars, travel expenses for scientific excursions, as well as scholarships abroad to deepen legal research. Additionally, grants for printing costs of dissertations and other scientific works are awarded. Particularly outstanding achievements are honored with monetary prizes, while specialist literature is provided as an important resource for daily study and research. Through these diverse funding instruments, a comprehensive offering is created that opens new perspectives for students and doctoral candidates and sustainably strengthens knowledge exchange in the field of civil law.
