Funding of the Therese Stöcker Foundation for the Support of Large Families

Since its founding in November 2009 in Issigau and the surrounding communities, the Therese Stöcker Foundation for the Support of Large Families has been specifically assisting large, needy families with financial grants. It pursues the charitable purpose of improving quality of life beyond basic needs. Eligible to apply are private households with more than two children who reside in Issigau or the immediate vicinity and can demonstrate their need through appropriate documentation. The allocation of funds is carried out in an unbureaucratic and ongoing manner, allowing families to submit applications at any time. Decisions on funding are made by the voluntarily serving foundation board.

Supported expenses include, among others, coverage of meal costs in daycare centers, co-financing of leisure and school events, as well as subsidies for musical instruments. Additionally, vouchers for food, children's clothing, and school supplies can be requested. The regional restriction ensures direct, prompt, and effective assistance that sustainably alleviates the daily life and development of the children. The foundation derives its income from the endowment capital as well as from additional endowments and donations, which are tax-deductible. There is no formal legal entitlement to funds, but the transparent statutes allow for reliable planning. Interested families may submit their complete documents to the foundation at any time to enable review and timely decision-making.
